EROTICISM AS AN ART-FORM
LouLou D’vil is a visual and performance artist whose work lives at the intersection of erotic theater, surrealism, and refined spectacle. Moving between masculine and feminine, light and shadow, she creates immersive worlds defined by sensuality, theatrical elegance, and psychological intensity. She is the founder of House of LouLou’s, a New York-based and female lead company dedicated to elevated public and private experiences in erotic dinner theater and performance.
Her latest theatrical work, OBSCURA, is a 70-minute sensual cabaret production that merges elegant costuming, choreography, provocative storytelling, and surreal visual language. Following its premiere on 2025, at The Stranger in New York City, OBSCURA returns in a newly reimagined form on May 2nd 2026, at The Red Pavilion.
Before founding House of LouLou’s, LouLou developed her distinctive creative voice through international collaborations with boundary-pushing institutions including The Box in New York and London, Torture Garden London, Italy, Japan and NYC, and Astarte Creative. From 2021 to 2025, she served as Creative Director of SNCTM, shaping immersive erotic experiences with a focus on theatricality, beauty, and transgression.
In 2021, she wrote, directed, and produced COCOON presents REFLECTIONS, a provocative Off-Broadway dinner theater experience created in collaboration with her husband, photographer Daniel D’Ottavio. This immersive spoken-word work marked the beginning of their ongoing creative partnership.
